Rio is a smaller guy with a sweet personality who is sure to steal your heart. Despite his past hardships, including the loss of his left eye, Rio remains full of love and spirit. His heart of gold and determination make him a special horse deserving of a loving home. While he can be a bit pushy, Rio is generally well-behaved during vet and farrier visits. Rio is comfortable being barefoot. Rio is trained to ride, and is currently at Horses with Hope, receiving 1:1 attention from their trainers. Rio has a gentle disposition and enjoys human interaction. Despite losing his left eye, Rio doesn’t let that hold him back. He adapts well and continues to thrive.
