Personal, peer-to-peer fundraising for your favorite charity is an effective way to make a difference. Don’t believe us? Just ask our friends and fabulous supporters Jami Bouley and Paul Gagne.
With a little help from lots of their friends and family, Jami and Paul had a party to benefit the horses at River Road farm. People from far and near came to eat, drink, and spend money on dozens and dozens of donated silent auction items. There was even a special appearance by the Society’s gorgeous mare, Daphne, and her colt, Windy River. Okay, it was just their movie cutout, but it made for a whole lot of horse-y fun!
Kidding aside, Our friends Jami and Paul raised a great deal of money in support of New England’s premier horse shelter, setting the standard for kindred fundraising. With their gift of more than $5,000, they have created a challenge for others to meet. Dedicate your next party in support of something you really love – perhaps even rescued horses. Let’s follow Jami and Paul’s wonderful example and put the FUN in fundraising!
Thank you also to all of the auction item donors, bidders, and attendees of the event. And a special shoutout to the two bands who donated their performances for the horses – Saccarappa Boys and Mainely Folk.
